Epic Universe Announces New Nighttime Spectacular: Universal Celestial Goodnight

Universal Orlando has announced a brand-new nighttime spectacular coming to Epic Universe this summer.

Beginning July 7, guests will be able to experience Universal Celestial Goodnight, a nighttime show taking place in Celestial Park.

While Universal has not released every detail yet, the show is expected to bring together music, fountains, lighting effects, and fireworks to create a grand finale for guests ending their day at Epic Universe.

Why This Announcement Makes Sense

After visiting Epic Universe ourselves, this announcement makes a lot of sense.

One of the things that surprised us most about the park was how beautiful Celestial Park becomes after dark. The lighting throughout the land, reflections on the water, and views of attractions like Stardust Racers completely change the atmosphere once the sun goes down.

In fact, we often tell families not to rush out of Epic Universe after dinner because some of the park's best views happen at night.

Adding a dedicated nighttime spectacular gives guests another reason to stay later and experience the park after sunset.

Why Families May Want to Plan for a Full Day

If you're planning a trip to Epic Universe after July 7, you may want to build a full park day into your plans so you don't miss the new show.

This is especially important for families who may be tempted to leave after dinner, head back to the hotel, or only treat Epic Universe as a partial-day park. With the addition of Universal Celestial Goodnight, the evening hours may become an even bigger part of the experience.

We actually have another Epic Universe trip planned for the end of July, and we cannot wait to see this new show in person. Celestial Park after dark was already one of our favorite parts of the park, so this is definitely on our must-do list for that trip.
